Information regarding New World Screwworm is being shared for educational purposes only. This is a fluid situation that may change daily, and we will update information as new guidance becomes available. Sources will be provided whenever possible. Customers should consult their veterinarian and appropriate animal health authorities before making livestock management or animal health decisions.

ALL suspected and confirmed cases of NWS must be reported immediately to the State Veterinarian’s Office at 405-522-6141 upon suspicion of clinical disease.
Reports can be made by anyone, not just veterinarians and laboratories.
Proper reporting will help slow the spread of this invasive pest.
